Line Cook – NOC 63200

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Prepare food ingredients, sauces, and marinades, and cook food to specifications.
  • Set up and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Maintain inventory and keep records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure food preparation and quality align with the restaurant’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Create kitchen work plans, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor supplies.
  • Unpack and store food supplies in refrigerators and storage areas.
  • Oversee kitchen operations and supervise kitchen helpers.
  • Train kitchen helpers and perform other related duties as needed.

Food Preparer – NOC 65201

  • Greet customers, take orders, and process payments for food purchases.
  • Serve customers at the counter and assist with dine-in orders.
  • Clean, peel, cut, slice, and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances.
  • Prepare food ingredients for workstation use.
  • Track and report inventory of food items and packaging supplies.
  • Portion, assemble, wrap, and package ordered food items.
  • Stock refrigerators, sauces, and salad bars as needed.
  • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators and other storage areas.
  • Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, refrigerators, and fryers.
  • Dispose of trash and clean garbage containers.
  • Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties as assigned.
